I was gone for a while, lacking in desire and motivation. I’m back now, though, with a mind to writing about common or uncommon things that puzzle me. How does a standard toilet work, for example? I’ve never thought about it before now, really, and I realize that my notions about it are vague at best. Abler folks than I have developed the … technology? … over the years, and I’ve only used it.

Anyway, that’s the kind of thing I plan to address in posts to follow. It should be big fun, don’t you think?

But I’m also pleased with the sleek and unobtrusive look of the widget bars. They were dead easy to set up, thanks to a neat little tool called Rainmeter.
