I’m back.

Yeah. I was gone for a while, lacking in desire and motivation. I’m back now, though, with a mind to writing about common or uncommon things that puzzle me. How does a standard toilet work, for example? I’ve never thought about it before now, really, and I realize that my notions about it are vague at best. Abler folks than I have developed the … technology? … over the years, and I’ve only used it.

Anyway, that’s the kind of thing I plan to address in posts to follow. It should be big fun, don’t you think?

My desktop

I really like my new Windows desktop, mainly because I really like Degas. But I’m also pleased with the sleek and unobtrusive look of the widget bars. They were dead easy to set up, thanks to a neat little tool called Rainmeter.
